DO NOT BUY FROM 21ST CENTURY INSURANCE

I attempted to purchase automobile insurance from 21st Century on 12/14/07. The company was paid on that date with a credit card. On Monday, 12/17/07 I attempted to reach 21st Century Insurance and was placed in HOLD queues for eternity. I never did learn if I had a policy on this date. On 12/18/07 I finally got through on the 800 number and cancelled the policy. Guess what, they still have my MONEY. I was told it would take 5-7 days to receive my refund but it's been 13 days and I'm still waiting. I would never use this company as they are in a constant state of chaos. No person knows what number to call to take any action, no one knows who runs the company since they just merged with AIG; and no one knows who their supervisor. Anne Mahaffey told me she would call me back in 10 minutes with an answer regarding my refund, that was 9 days ago and I'm still waiting for that call. DO NOT USE 21ST CENTURY INSURANCE.
