GRANDPARENTS are clocking up a total of 3.8 billion miles a year "chauffeuring" their grandchildren around, a survey shows today. Grans and grandpas do an average 1,100 miles a year ferrying their grandchildren, the survey from Sheilas' Wheels car insurance found.
