The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. announced recently that an enhanced version of its Dimensions personal auto insurance program -- Dimensions with AutoPackages -- has been made available in six more states: Oklahoma, Minnesota, Colorado, Kansas, Nevada and New Mexico.

Dimensions, which is sold through the company's network of independent agents, is a "multivariate" insurance plan that applies intersecting rating factors to generate a customized price for an individual policy holder, Hartford said in a press release.

Introduced in 2003, the plan wasmodified in 2006 and is now being offered with four different package options in many states.

"Research tells us that people want more choices and a better understanding of those choices when shopping for insurance," said Mike Concannon, senior vice president of personal lines at Hartford.
